Web sites and pages devoted to the island of
Paros

ParosWeb.gr

A site that offers a good introduction to the island. Plenty of photos even if the text could be filled out a bit.

ParosWeb.com

A site with plenty of secondary info (this site rather assumes that you already know something about Paros). Finding you way around isn't that easy. Hotel section is one of the best around with a good list of options and e-mail buttons to them.

GNTO Tourist Info

A page with some useful phone numbers tagged onto the usual brief island history and highlights.

ParosLife.com

A very bland looking site produced by and for non-Greek inhabitants of Paros. The site compliments a monthly newsletter that is on sale on the island. Very useful if you are house hunting in this part of the world, but otherwise a bit dull. Some of the pages (e.g. the ferry and bus timetables) don't seem to exist yet.

Ministry of Culture

Scroll down the page to access the good pages giving you the low down on the archaeological / historical sites on Paros.

Parosurf.gr

Paros is a very popular windsurfing destination - hence this good web site. Pages give you a good idea on the various options and weather / sea conditions. Photo gallery has pics of island beaches (complete with windsurfing kit).

Augenblick.com

German site (with English text alongside) offering various 360 degree views of the island.

Paros Medical Centre

A series of pages on the Vacation.net site. Justify their own entry as this centre is the largest medical facility in the Cyclades. Has pages devoted to the various departments and contacts.

United-Hellas.com

A collection of Paros pages which don't have much content. Still worth a look if you are trawling for odd bits of info.

OneWorld

A single page shared with Anitparos. All very basic and hardly worth a visit. On the plus side there are links at the bottom of the page to a number of Parian hotels.

Vacation.net

Single page with basic info and a couple of photos.

Dilos.com

One page of very limited text and a photo that looks remarkably like the waterfront of Mykonos Town. Presumably this has been added on the assumption that most visitors to this page won't notice.
