Good German photo site. Well worth a visit if you are looking for pics of Crete (including 360 degree views).

A page with some useful phone numbers tagged onto the usual brief island history and highlights.

Very poor coverage of the island as a whole: individual major towns get pages of their own and a reasonable amount of text.

A rather weak site compared to the competition. Only for those feeling very keen.
